The word ‘Lucciolaio’ brings with it many sensations: the magic of that surreal moment, the harmony of the night landscape undisturbed by the city lights, the liveliness of the fireflies, the genuineness of that still, intact territory, the confirmation of the goodness of the choice not to use insecticides and harmful substances in the treatment of the vineyards.

The Lucciolaio Collection is a precious vertical representation of this stunning wine from vintages 2005, 2007 and 2009. Wax sealed bottles in a charming rustic wooden case.

Intense ruby red colour with garnet red shadings after years of aging. The nose opens with a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, essences of wood, spices, vanilla and liquorice. The palate is full, soft, elegant, harmonic, well balanced and has a very long finish. It is a truely ageable wine, retaining its best features for many years. (18-25 years).
