"Cava is made the same way as Champagne, often using native grapes, but costs a fraction of the price. This has pretty floral aromas with yeasty citrus fruit. The palate shows complexity and fine acidity with ripe apple and biscuit notes on the finish. Great value."

Franck Massard, the founder and proprietor of Epicure Wines, achieved the title of Best Sommelier in the United Kingdom in 1996. More recently, in 2013, he was honored as the Naked Winemaker of the Year, a highly esteemed accolade presented by nakedwines.com.
In 2004, Franck made a significant move by acquiring a vineyard located in Spain's Priorat region. This marked the inception of his ambition and journey to craft wines that authentically reflect the unique terroirs of lesser-known regions such as Ribeira Sacra, Terra Alta, and Valdeorras.
Franck actively sought out vineyards in challenging and unforgiving climates, where the grapes mature at a slower pace. Many of these vineyards were home to century-old vines, some of which had been neglected due to their remarkably low yields. However, these very vines consistently produced exceptional fruit of outstanding quality.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
