Bottle Per Case : 12 x 750 ml
"The 2010 Mathilde is 100% Merlot in 2010, and the alcohol is at 15%. The wine is a blockbuster, a delicious, hedonistic St.-Emilion fruit bomb with loads of blackberry, raspberry, black currant and cherry notes intermixed with some cedar wood, forest floor and a touch of toast. The interesting thing about Mathilde is that it is bottled and put on the market much earlier than most of the serious wines of Bordeaux. The Mathilde is probably best consumed in its first decade of life."

Château La Fleur Morange is a family property of 4 ha is located in Saint-Pey d'Armens, in the jurisdiction of Saint-Emilion. The average age of the vines is one hundred years. The terroir is clayey sand soil on a subsoil of limestone and alios (iron tilth). The grape variety is predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Yields are very low, maximum 20 hl/ha. The wine benefits here from the latest vinification techniques tending to favour the fruit and the expression of the terroir. Thus, small vats are used to obtain optimal extraction, in particular by punching down. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels. Their annual production is estimated at 10,000 bottles.
Château La Fleur Morange was created at the end of the 1990s like a garage wine on 1.5 ha with constant care. The family property is managed by Véronique and Jean-François Julien. In 2012, they received the Saint-Emilion Grands Crus Classés classification.
