Grapes for this wine are sourced from Bodega Margot’s high altitude vineyards in Tupungato and see just 2 months of oak to add that extra touch of complexity. This very tasty red offers aromas of red fruits with blackberries, black cherries and plums. Medium-bodied with round, sweet tannins and a hint of spice. A great value from one of Argentina’s top young winemakers.

Bodega Margot

Bodega Margot cultivates Malbec (12.5 ha), Cabernet Sauvignon (1 ha), Cabernet Franc (1 ha) and Chardonnay (3 ha). The vineyards are 18 years old located 1,000 meters above sea level, in one of the most demanding places in the world for the development of vines of high oenological quality. With the imminent installation of a drip irrigation system, they will stabilize the yields between 80 and 100 quintals per hectare, (150,000 kilos of high-quality wine grapes per year).

The vineyards are managed using with organic fertilizers and regenerative agriculture practices. They are proud to be guardians of the environment in the area that they live. They have been making high-end wines for 20 years. In 2014 they built their winery with a 170,000-liter capacity in stainless steel tanks with cold jackets and state-of-the-art machinery.
