Producer : Castillo de Monjardin
Region : Navarra (Spain), Spain (Spain)
Bottle Per Case : 12 x 750 ml
This flagship red of Castillo de Monjardin is named after a king who played a very important role in building the kingdom of Navarra in the 12th century. Made from 100% low-yield Merlot grown in iron-rich soil and fermented in stainless steel, the wine is then aged in new French casks for one year before release. Rich ruby-red in color, Deyo shows intense aromas of blackberries, violets, licorice and chocolate. On the palate it is richly textured with fine-grained tannins and generous depth of flavors. Deyo is the perfect expression of the Navarra terroir in which it is grown.
