Bottle Per Case : 6 x 750 ml
"A ripe and distinctly smoky nose features notes of both white and yellow orchard fruit that flirts with hints of the exotic. There is more volume if less evident minerality to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the moderately firm citrus-tinged acid spine shaping the lingering finish. This needs to develop more depth but the aging curve appears be sufficiently long to permit that to occur.”
90-92 points, Allen Meadows’, Burghound, June 2019.

Antoine Jobard is a renowned producer of high-quality wines in Burgundy. The winery was founded in the early 1950s by Antoine Jobard, who purchased several vineyards in the Meursault appellation. Over the years, Jobard expanded his holdings and developed a reputation for producing exceptional Chardonnay wines.
Today, the winery is run by Antoine's son, François Jobard, who took over the business in the 1990s. François is both the owner and the winemaker, and continues his father's legacy of producing top-notch wines. François is known for attention to detail and a commitment to producing wines that truly reflect the terroir of the region.
The winery is located in the village of Meursault situated in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. The vineyards are planted on steep slopes that face south or southeast, which allows for optimal sun exposure. The soil is limestone, clay, and marl, which contributes to the unique flavor profile of the wines.
The winery has received numerous awards over the years, including a four-star rating from Decanter Magazine and a score of 96 points from Wine Spectator. The wines are highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs, and they are known for their complex aromas, rich flavors, and long finishes.
François is known for his minimalist approach to winemaking. He uses traditional methods and avoids the use of new oak barrels, which allows the fruit to truly shine through in the finished product. This commitment to quality and authenticity is what sets the Antoine Jobard winery apart from others in the region.
