"Pretty perfumed element to the nose. Good balance and impact here with emphasis on liquorice, dark chocolate and sweet tobacco alongside the blackcurrant and black cherry fruit. I actually really like the expression, the fruit feels well handled with fine tannins. Good freshness from start to finish with a minty undertone. Well presented. Enjoy this today with food, something to match with the sweet spice aspect."

The Producer

Château Roudier

Chateau Roudier is a small family estate in Saint Emilion's Montagne region, one of the ‘satellites’ of Saint Émilion, situated just to the north of the main Saint Émilion vineyard area. Their wines are a blend made with mostly Merlot grapes, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are on average 40 years old.
