"The 2019 Chardonnay Mountain Select has a relatively restrained, soft-spoken nose of fresh pears, white peaches and applesauce with hints of baking bread, lemongrass and toasted almonds. The medium to full-bodied palate has a lovely creaminess to the texture with a quiet intensity of fresh stone fruit and savory layers, finishing with a burst of freshness."
91 points - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate, Nov 2020
"Unctuous and fruity, with fresh and pure-tasting flavors of Gala apple, pear tart and sage cream that are well-knit. Shows luscious spiciness on the plush finish."

Antica is an amalgam of Antinori and California, representing the Antinori family's interest in the region. As early as 1993, they were convinced of California's infinite viticultural possibilities and saw Napa Valley as its penultimate expression. After some searching, they invested in a plot they believed possessed the requisite potential for their Tuscan-style of winemaking. Fast-forward to 2006, they finally achieved their goal, releasing wine that seamlessly bonds and expresses Tuscan tradition with California style–delivering on their namesake with flying colours.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
