Surrounded by the iconic trinity of Mouton Rothschild, Lafite Rothschild and Pontet-Canet in the heart of Pauillac's extortionate vine real estate sits the postage-stamp parcel of vines that is the source of Chateau Chantecler, one of the last independent producers left in Pauillac.
Chantecler is an incredibly impressive Pauillac. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc from 45+ year old vines, the wine shows the beguiling perfume, concentrated flavors and powerful structure of arguably the world’s most prestigious terroir. It is so lush and silky that you could drink now, but the depth of flavor and power suggest the wine will age and develop beautifully for decades to come.
