The Pazo de Casanova winery has produced wines for the last fifteen years and was recently acquired by the Grandes Pagos Gallegos de Viticultura Tradicional wine group.
The property is made up of two farms located on the right bank of the Miño, on one of the historic slopes of the valley. The Pazo de Casanova farm, at an altitude of 180 meters, has more than 9 hectares facing south and surrounded by a 200 year-old stone wall. The vineyard has more than six hectares of fifteen-year-old white autochthonous varieties.
Further up the slope, at an altitude of 350 meters, is the Fechos farm, a property of more than three hectares located in the town of the same name. On this farm, is one of the oldest plantations of native varieties in the Ribeiro with 30 year-old vines.
