Eisele Vineyard, formerly known as Araujo, has yielded some of California's most revered 'cult' wines since its founding in 1990. Expect a ripe, rich wine, with plenty of juicy dark cherry, cassis, toast and chocolate tones and effortless poise. There's significant cellar potential, so enjoy this tonight with beef tenderloin or follow its evolution into the early 2030s.

Eisele Vineyards

Eisele Vineyard, located in the northeastern part of Napa Valley, just to the east of Calistoga at the foot of the Palisades Mountain range, was first planted with grapevines in the 1880s. Since 1998, it has been cultivated using organic farming practices, and since 2000, it has adhered to biodynamic farming methods. For the past fifty years, this vineyard has primarily focused on growing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Since the very first release under the Eisele name in 1971, this renowned vineyard has consistently received acclaim for possessing one of Napa Valley's finest terroirs. The wines produced here consistently showcase the exceptional depth, elegance, and ability to age gracefully, which are the defining characteristics of Eisele Vineyard.
