"The 2016 Pommard Les Grands Epenots 1er Cru has another perfumed and detailed bouquet that is sophisticated and entrancing. This is outstanding. The palate is detailed, mineral-driven and framed around its filigree tannin. Its discrete tart finish beckons another sip. What a beautifully realized Pommard from David Rebourgeon."

Established in Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure lies deep in the heart of the Cote de Beaune and is one of the oldest family-owned estates in Burgundy. David joined the family winery in 2003, and his impact has been profound. He has taken the domaine to cutting edge in Pommard by creating wines that favour elegance and purity of fruit over terse tannins and brooding dark fruit. His wines are true to their terroir but have an elegance that Pommard for the last half a century has lacked.
