"From 8 plots across the appellation: En Vaux, Les Vaches, Vaumuriens above, Perrières, Rue au Porc, Croix Planet below. Fresh full purple, with a cheerful pinot nose maintaining some freshness. There is a really electric current running through, no more than medium bodied, attractive length, well defined but ripe tannins. An extremely fine Pommard to relish in 6 to 10 years time. Tasted: October 2021."

Established in Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure lies deep in the heart of the Cote de Beaune and is one of the oldest family-owned estates in Burgundy. David joined the family winery in 2003, and his impact has been profound. He has taken the domaine to cutting edge in Pommard by creating wines that favour elegance and purity of fruit over terse tannins and brooding dark fruit. His wines are true to their terroir but have an elegance that Pommard for the last half a century has lacked.
