Produced by one of the oldest winegrowers in Pouilly sur Loire who produces some of the finest wines of the region. Perfectly exemplified by this stunning Sauvignon Blanc which features wonderful balance, fullness and freshness with superb citrus aroma. Notes of orange blossom, lime peel and traditional Pouilly Fume gun-smoke on the nose, which blends seamlessly with the slatey, stoney minerality of the palate, all underpinned by classic Loire acidity. Crisp, refreshing and downright delicious!
"Wonderful aromas of dried flowers to the cooked apple and some lime. Green papaya too. Medium to full body. Fruity and minerally finish."

In the winemaking hamlet of Boisgibault during the 1770s, in Tracy-sur-Loire in the Pouilly-Fumé appellation, a winemaker and Countryside warden, André Mollet, was harvesting Blanc Fumé (former name of Sauvignon Blanc) and Chasselas.
In 2000 Florian Mollet started managing the family’s estate and continuing the hard work of its founder, André. Credited for his talent in winemaking, Florian built a modern cellar next to the Clos du Roc parcel and successfully enlarged the family estate up to 17ha. Thanks to his expertise in France and abroad (Australia, South-Africa…) combined with his profound knowledge of flint (Silex) terroir, his wines have become the reference for epicureans in search for freshness, chiselled minerality, and refined aromas.
Today, Domaine Roc de l’Abbaye, managed by the Mollet family, continues to cultivate the iconic ‘Clos du Roc’ parcel as well as some finest examples of flint (Silex) terroirs of the region.
