Tasting Notes

The dark cherry/mahogany red color is indicative of the luscious palate structure which leads with briar/bramble berry fruit backed by notes of violets, sweet hibiscus juice, black currant conserves, and red-flesh plum. Meaty and mouthwatering with succulent edges, the full body is built on a tannin structure that starts out silky and fine then builds to a firm yet smooth finish that lingers indulgently on the palate.

"A tempting, plum syrup aroma leads to luxurious flavors of black cherries, cooked plums, mint and cocoa in this smooth, full-bodied, Zinfandel-based wine that clings to the sides of the mouth. Modest tannins and gorgeous fruits make it soft and delicious."

Angels & Cowboys

Launched in 2014, Angels & Cowboys is a collaboration between the founder of SHARE A SPLASH wine co. Yoav Gilat and Northern California graphic designer Michael Schwab.

The Angels & Cowboys journey began with a sentimental namesake, a bold, mysterious icon and an appreciation for down to earth wines. These elements drove the vision to create an offering of wines that indulge the lover, the trailblazer and the rule breaker in all of us.

Angels & Cowboys Proprietary Red & Rosé are handcrafted blends sourced from some of Sonoma County’s most prestigious growers. Their winemaking team draws on traditional as well as progressive winemaking methods to achieve our standout style.

Angels & Cowboys Brut & Brut Rosé are crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise, the grapes for their sparkling wines are sourced from vineyards in Northern California, including Mendocino and Sonoma counties. Each exemplify the terroir of the region and contribute their unique flavor profiles and aromas to their blend.
