"Ribera benefited from regular seasons and a very cold winter in 2018, according to Xavier Ausàs, which is why he's such a fan of the vintage. This is the third release of this excellent, pan-Ribera blend from Vega Sicilia's long-term former winemaker and is his best yet. Combining Tinto Fino grapes from five villages between 780 and 900m, it's a subtle, refined red that carries its 15% alcohol with ease, showing chalky minerality, scented 35% new wood, tobacco and red berry fruit flavours and a long, stylish, lightly balsamic finish."

Ausás Bodegas y Viñedos is located in the heart of Spain's Ribera del Duero region. Established in 2004, the winery has quickly gained a reputation for producing exceptional wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the local terroir.

The owner, Miguel Angel de Gregorio is a fourth-generation winemaker. He inherited a passion for winemaking from his family and has dedicated his life to producing high-quality wines that reflect the region's rich winemaking tradition.

The winemaker responsible for crafting the wines is Maria Jose Garcia. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Garcia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Ausás Bodegas y Viñedos benefits from the region's unique terroir, which is characterized by a continental climate, rocky soils, and high altitude vineyards. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of over 800 meters above sea level, which allows for slow ripening and optimal flavor development.
