A special occasion wine. Excellent with fall and winter stews, sautéed mushrooms, duck confit, chestnut soup, and roasted squab or pheasant. This is a wine to linger over and return to over the course of a meal, offering the patient drinker something different with each visit to the glass.

Garnet red color. Fine and Elegant aromas of tobacco, dates, and spices. In the mouth, it is full-flavored and fresh with firm and rounded tannins with a long aftertaste. On the palate arise the chocolate and vanilla.

Bodegas Valoria

Bodegas Valoria is one of the oldest wineries in the Rioja DOC. Its origins date back to 1860, when the Pérez Foncea family founded the original winery in Fuenmayor, one of the most prestigious towns in La Rioja Alta. It is one of only ten firms chosen from Rioja that can sell the so-called ‘old vintages’ from before 1980. These vintages are recognised year after year by international experts such as Robert Parker. Their wines are the fruit of passion and experience thanks to their winemaking process that combines tradition and modernity.
