Tasting Notes

The single-vineyard of Belle Montagne is protected by a unique screen of vegetation that creates the boundaries of the vineyard and provides its identity. Fresh and appealing, this lychee coloured wine offers white flowers and red berries on the nose with a hint of grapefruit. The flavours are complex, dominated by ripe tropical fruits and balanced by a lovely mineral structure. True Provençal style rose.

The Producer

Domaine La Grande Bauquiere

Domaine La Grande Bauquiere is located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France at the foothills of the St. Victoire Mountains is protected from the wind by rows of tall trees whilst streams meander between them and through the vineyards.

The exceptional terroir is set apart by its deep limestone and clay-sandstone soils from the Miocene era (also known as ‘safres’, or silt), as well as deep soils composed of ancient alluvial deposits with small stones, excellent for the production of great wines.
