Tasting Notes

After a first life spent between California and New Zealand, Aurélia and Étienne Moly settled in Saumur with their two children to experience the winemaking adventure. The couple learned the techniques from the Guiberteau family, pioneers of organic viticulture, before launching Domaine Moly for themselves.

Etienne wanted, through this vintage of old vines, to convey all his passion for this Loire grape variety. The bouquet opens with small wild black berries, strong and sweet spices and vegetal notes typical of great Cabernet Francs. The compact palate is held together by a tannic architecture that is ripe and firm at the same time.
