The fruit for Stoneburn’s wines is harvested from vineyards in the Wairau Valley in the cool of the very early morning when a chill still hangs in the air. Every process is linked to retaining flavour, vibrancy, and aroma. The result is a lush, refreshing wine. Intense aromas of tropical fruit are balanced by fresh, herbaceous notes. The palate is well-structured and crisp with great acidity. This is classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from the nose through to the long finish.

Stoneburn, nestled in Marlborough's esteemed Wairau Valley, stands as a quaint winery. Since its establishment in 1989, Stoneburn has been dedicated to crafting wines that authentically reflect the distinct terroir of its stony alluvial vineyards and the innate aromatic qualities of its grape varieties.
The vineyards are situated in an ancient riverbed, where the soil's meagre quality fosters a light yield but yields fruit bursting with intense flavours. The resulting wines are vibrant, well-balanced, and brimming with freshness, all preserved under screw cap closure to retain their full character.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
