Tasting Notes
Driving through the country on a warm, sunny, August morning with the windows down is where you are taken with this wine. Fresh mown hay with kiss of wild flower honey greets you as you raise the glass to your nose. In the field you also find freshly opened melon gently warmed by the sun. To bring a spark, the delicious citrus strikes a seam down the middle of the wine and foreshadows the lively acidity on the palate. As you accelerate and the resultant wind tosses your hair with abandon, you are reminded once again that this is a sporty vintage!
