Hacienda Lopez de Haro Rioja Blanco by Bodega Classica 2023
4.5★ | The best white wine value in the country.
Rioja, Spain / Garnacha Blanca, Malvasia, Viura / Dry, Medium

Viura from 50-80 year-old vines near San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja Alta and aged for 3 months in French oak barrels. White fruit and flowers on the nose, following through on the palate with riper fruit, good structure, freshness and complexity. Long, pleasant finish. This wine is a steal!

Pink Pegau Vin de France by Chateau Pegau 2023
4★ | THE summer wine!
Rhone, France / Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan / Dry, Med

Vivid salmon pink colour with a watery hue. Leaping out of the glass are pronounced aromatics of peach and blood orange followed by some citrus and stony notes. Zesty peach, melon and blood orange fruits are well rounded and show good intensity. Dry tangy aftertaste.

Beaujolais Les Grandes Coasses by Paul Durdilly 2023
4.6★ | Old vine Burgundy surprise.
Beaujolais, France / Gamay / Extra Dry, Med-Light

Hands-down one of the finest “basic” Beaujolais wines you can find for the money; but there’s little that’s basic about it. Le Bois d’Oignt’s terroir secret is that many of its vineyards have soils that are pure limestone, the same “mother rock” of the Côte d’Or.  This is why Gamay grown on Durdilly’s older-vine, high-altitude vineyard slopes is always refined and supple, with a complexity of flavor that will make you think Vosne, or even Chambolle—and then make you rethink everything you thought you knew about Beaujolais.

Vin de Savoie Abymes by Domaine Labbe 2022
4.4★ | Electric, bone dry, alpine white—not to be missed..
Savoie, France / Jaquere / Extra Dry, Light

The Domaine Labbe 'Abymes' might just be the brightest, crispest, most refreshing white wine that you've ever tasted. It is produced from 100% Jacquere--a crisp and delicious grape variety native to the region of Savoie in far Eastern France. This off-the-beaten-path region is home to some of the finest white wine values that France has to offer. It is punctuated by flavors of freshly sliced lemon, green apple, white pear, and a textbook Savoie minerality. Quaff this wine all on its own or enjoy with your favorite cheese and charcuterie. Especially food friendly.

Barbera by Vallana 2022
5★ | This will delight your senses, a wine to ALWAYS have on-hand.
Piedmont, Italy / Barbera / Extra Dry, Med

From one of the most respected names in the Alto Piemonte, and a producer that Wine Spectator called one of the best in the world, Vallana's Barbera is one of the top red wine values on the planet. Full of Old World charm, this will delight your senses with notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, spice, and mineral. Low in tannin but with zesty acids.

Legado del Moncayo Garnacha by Isaac Fernandez Seleccion 2023
4.5★ | This is THE ultimate house red..
Campo de Borja, Spain / Garnacha / Extra Dry, Med

"The 2023 Garnacha Tinto from Legado del Moncayo is again made from high altitude vineyards, with these twenty-five year-old vines planted between five hundred-sixty and six hundred meters above sea level. The wine is fermented and raised in stainless steel and the new vintage comes in at fourteen percent octane. The wine offers up a deep and vibrant bouquet of red and black raspberries, smoked meats, a bit of fruitcake, lovely spice tones, stony soils and a topnote of bonfire. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and rock solid at the core, with good soil undertow and grip, ripe tannins and a long, complex and very well balanced finish. This is an outstanding bottle of Garnacha that puts to shame many an example of Châteauneuf du Pape these days! Great value."
