Tasting Notes

This is a lively, almost juicy but still elegant young Tuscan blend with quite lifted floral, blackcurrant, raspberry fruit inset with fine herbs. It is medium weight with lively Tuscan acidity, some alcohol warmth and youthful, green but not severe tannin. The length is very good to excellent.

Two of the best-known, most critically acclaimed “Super-Tuscan” blends of all time Tignanello and Solaia, come from vineyards in the Chianti Classico region.
