Tasting Notes
Youthful violet color. Aromas of ripe red/blue fruits, cola, licorice and allspice are accompanied by a smoky mineral topnote. Appealingly sweet and expansive on the palate, offering juicy black raspberry and cherry flavors that firm up slowly through the mid-palate. Finishes with gentle, even tannins, a hint of florality and persistent spiciness.

Clos Figueras is located in Gratallops, within the Priorat Qualified Designation of Origin. The property was purchased in 1997 by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan. Clos Figueras owns an original estate of old Garnacha and Cariñena vineyards. In addition, other varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet and Viognier have been planted.
