A spectacular value from Yarran Wines, a family owned and operated winery who just received the James Halliday’s Dark Horse Winery of the Year 2021. 

The 2020 Shiraz from Bendigo, Hilltops and Heathcote vineyards were picked at optimum ripeness to create this rich, full bodied wine. Aged with a combination of French and American oak, this wine displays ripe plum and spicy characters with soft tannins.  A great accompaniment to red meat and pasta dishes

The Producer

Yarran

Yarran Wines is a family-owned and operated winery located a short distance from Yenda in the NSW Riverina. Fruit has been grown on the family vineyard for 35 years, but it wasn't until the late 90s that the family started making wines, kicking off with a single Shiraz in 1998. Yarran now makes many different varietal table wines, rich fortified blends and also a classic Riverina Botrytis sweet wine style. Chief Winemaker, Sam Brewer, is always trying something a little less mainstream each year, aiming to overdeliver with quality and produce affordable wines with personality.
