In the Arroyo Grande Valley lies Talley Vineyard that is internationally recognized for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Within in the vineyard are 14 separate subsections of vines. Rosemary's Vineyard is located on a hillside surrounding Rosemary Talley's home about one mile west of the Rincon Vineyard and is characterized by white, rocky fractured sandstone and loam, with some clay in the subsoil. Like the Rincon Vineyard, Rosemary's Vineyard is steep and very well drained.
From a very special section of the famed Talley Vineyard. This well structured Pinot shows berry/cranberry notes and a dusty, earthy spice charactertistic of the vineyard. The finish is elegant if not ethereal. Age has been kind to this wine, with integrated elements elevating it to a new level.

Au Bon Climat is one of those estates whose reputation precedes them. Since 1982, owner/winemaker, Jim Clendenen has profoundly shaped the landscape of quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in California’s Central Coast, creating pure expressions of Santa Barbara County before the region was immortalized in the 2004 movie, Sideways, and long before it became the go-to appellation for “The New California.”
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
