The Finca Amalia winery is operated by six families of grape growers. This dedicated and well-coordinated group has gained worldwide acclaim for their exceptional wines, owing to their extensive international winemaking expertise.
The grapes are sourced from 200 hectares of vineyards exclusively owned by the winery in Alfaro. These vineyards feature vines that are more than 30 years old situated in an area known for its remarkable variety of soils and microclimates. The wine undergoes fermentation at carefully controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, with the malolactic fermentation occurring in concrete vats, resulting in wines that burst with vibrant red fruit flavours. The wine is then aged for 3 months in American oak barrels.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
