Produced by a time-honoured and internationally respected winemaker, Sarah Perez, this wine is an exquisite piece of art. It comes from Priorat, a breathtaking mountaintop region outside of Barcelona and since its “rediscovery” in the 1980s, it has joined Rioja at the top rank of Spanish wine regions.
"This is a wine of power and depth and amazes me every time I open a bottle. It is still so young! Intense aromas of ripe blue and black fruit leap from the glass, with hints of Mediterranean herbs, balsamic notes and marked mineral notes that speak to the terroir it came from. Ripe and fresh on the palate with firm and round tannins, this wine will drink best after decanting for at least 1-2 hours. It can age for at least another 5-10 years, if not longer. This wine, and those like it are why Priorat is now a global sensation."

Terres de Vidalba is a family winery located in Poboleda, Spain. This family and personal project started from scratch in 1996. Today, they are 2 generations involved. Their wines are made only with their own farm's grapes, located in Barranc de la Bruixa, where 'llicorella' is predominant.
Llicorella is the Catalan name for the type of soil in Priorat, which consists mainly of reddish-black slate with small particles of mica quartz, the different layers being filled in by clay-like soil.
