ONE (1) MIXED-CASE OF SIX (6) BOTTLES INCLUDES:
• Three (3) bottles of 2007 TOCS Priorat (97 points)
• Three (3) bottles of 2011 TOCS Priorat (96+ points)
This exclusive mixed case will make you and your oenophile friends say, wow! It’s drinking perfectly now. It is intense and full-bodied Grenache/Syrah blend, the way Priorat is meant to be. Delicious fruit, plenty of depth, and just the right amount of oak to smooth it all out. Not to mention, there is 10+ years of age behind these beauties.
Interestingly, the 2007 represents the last vintage any Cabernet Sauvignon was used, and it gives this vintage a darker richer style that harkens back to the Priorat of the ‘modern’ age when Cab and Syrah were used quite heavily. That said – this wine is incredible and has a truffle and dried red flower note that I love. The 2011 is a vintage that I simply adore in Priorat. In its youth it was thought not to be ripe enough, but as always with great winemakers, the acidity allowed the fruit and structure to age beautifully into what is one of the most vibrant wines from the TOCS vertical. I am happy to offer the 2007 and 2011 in a mixed case of three bottles each.

Terres de Vidalba is a family winery located in Poboleda, Spain. This family and personal project started from scratch in 1996. Today, they are 2 generations involved. Their wines are made only with their own farm's grapes, located in Barranc de la Bruixa, where 'llicorella' is predominant.
Llicorella is the Catalan name for the type of soil in Priorat, which consists mainly of reddish-black slate with small particles of mica quartz, the different layers being filled in by clay-like soil.
It's important to remember that taste is subjective, and personal preferences play a significant role.
