This exclusive mixed case will make you and your oenophile friends say, wow! It’s drinking perfectly now. It is intense and full-bodied Grenache/Syrah blend, the way Priorat is meant to be. Delicious fruit, plenty of depth, and just the right amount of oak to smooth it all out. Not to mention, there is 10+ years of age behind these beauties.
Up until now, the 2008, 2009, and 2010 TOCS Priorat have been maturing in their original resting place. Produced by a time‑honoured and internationally respected winemaker, Sarah Perez, these wines are exquisite pieces of art‑albeit ones that can be touched, opened, and thoroughly enjoyed. They come from Priorat, a breathtaking mountaintop region outside of Barcelona and since its “rediscovery” in the 1980s, it has joined Rioja at the top rank of Spanish wine regions.
Every one of these bottles vividly captures the traditional essence of this fabled region — dark savoury fruit, crushed minerals, balanced earthiness and enthralling aromatics. These wines, from a globally revered icon, are one of the greatest gifts for any true wine lover.
TOCS Priorat 2008
This wine has a profound perfume of exotic Asian spices, incense and dark black and blue fruit. This wine is densely layer, succulent and beautifully aged. The powerful fruit is now beautifully dried and mature and is intermingled with an enthralling singed earth quality. This wine can certainly age effortlessly for another 5 years but why wait! This is the most elegant and perfumed of the bunch. We paired this with lamb shanks over thanksgiving and it wowed some very discerning palates at the table.

TOCS Priorat 2009
This wine showcases the power and heat of 2009 vintage and has all the dark savoury blue and black fruit of the 2010, but with a seductive aroma of dried tobacco, cigar box smell. The palate has the same dark savoury fruit and supple earthiness that I want, and has a really meditteranean profile. This wine is in perfect balance and ready to drink! Pair with wild game or a great steak with roasted mushrooms.

TOCS Priorat 2010
This is a wine of power and depth and amazes me every time I open a bottle. It is still so young! Intense aromas of ripe blue and black fruit leap from the glass, with hints of Mediterranean herbs, balsamic notes and marked mineral notes that speak to the terroir it came from. Ripe and fresh on the palate with firm and round tannins, this wine will drink best after decanting for at least 1-2 hours. It can age for at least another 5-10 years, if not longer. This wine, and those like it are why Priorat is now a global sensation.
