A fresh white wine, straw-coloured with greenish reflections, fruity with long-lasting, intense bouquet that recalls citrus fruit, white blossoms and fresh fruit salad; dry and with good structure, it has a fragrant evolution with delicate acidity and a long finish.

Lungarotti

The Cantine Giorgio Lungarotti Winery is an Italian wine company situated in the Umbria region, Italy. The property spans across various locations, with the main ones located in the towns of Torgiano and Montefalco. Established in the late 1950s by Giorgio Lungarotti, the reins of the company are now in the hands of his wife Maria Grazia, along with sisters Teresa and Chiara. The Lungarotti name has gained renown for elevating Umbrian wines to prominence, blending a traditional reverence for the land with modern innovation and research. Additionally, the Lungarotti company is the proud owner of the Wine Museum of Torgiano (MUVIT) and the Olive and Oil Museum (MOO), both situated in the heart of Torgiano.

The present-day Lungarotti winery emerged in the late 1950s. Formerly recognized for his family's small-batch wines, Giorgio Lungarotti decided to scale up his vineyard, driven by his deep love and respect for the land. Together with his wife Maria Grazia, Giorgio tapped into the potential of the underrated Umbrian Region, crafting high-quality wine that marries technology with tradition. The flagship wine for the Lungarotti brand is Rubesco, named after the Latin verb meaning 'to blush.' This wine originated from a novel approach to vine cultivation and a scientific vinification of traditional varietals. Giorgio himself pioneered this process, which stands as a source of pride for the company.
