"Valdechuecas is one of those historic Alto Najerilla parcels, planted in 1912 and 1918, where you almost lose count of the number of different varieties. Raúl Aca reckons there might be a dozen of them dominated by Garnacha. The result is "more Burgundian than Burgundy", with amazing perfume and precision, notes of mountain herbs, redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit and textured, filigree tannins."
