The Degani Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Cicilio impresses with finesse and an airy display of fresh violets, blueberries and hints of mint. It’s silky in texture with ripe red fruits, salty minerals and a mix of inner rose and lavender tones. There’s nothing out of place in this balanced and juicy effort, which seems to have something new to say each time I revisit it, as it tapers off with floral nuances and a hint of plum.
