Tasting Notes

Made with organically farmed grapes, this delicious white opens with aromas of citrus blossom and white stone fruit. The tangy, medium-bodied palate offers a lovely depth of flavors that include juicy tangerine, lime, white peach, bitter almond and mineral. Crisp acidity brightens the rich flavors and carries through to the clean finish.

"Buzzing, salty, mineral-toned green fruit and fresh herb aromas followed by soaring acidity which gives freshness and length. Amazing value."

The Producer

Collestefano

A story of love for the land, that of the Marchionni family, today owners of Collestefano. Farmers since always, the Marchionnis came here, to Rustano near Castelraimondo (Province of Macerata) in the 1960s, leaving behind a life too meager and ungenerous in the nearby Camerino. Their hard work leads to the purchase – and we are already in 1978 - of this small hamlet called Collestefano. But the road of redemption, peace and recognition of the talent of farmers is still long and arduous. It will take many years to make shine the name of this winery in the circle of great Italian wine producers. It was necessary, in fact, to wait until Fabio, son of Benedetto and Anna, reached cultural and professional maturity. We are in 1998, and Fabio, newly graduated in Enology and arriving fresh from an experience of wine production and trade in a German wine shop, bottles the first vintage of Verdicchio di Matelica, flanked by his parents, irreplaceable, and by his wife Silvia, who divides her time between the work on the farm and raising their daughters, Elena and Serena.
