The estates history dates back to 1648 when the Roman Empire awarded 600 hectares to the Locatelli family. Nearly 400 years later and Marta Locatelli has taken the reigns, continuing the tradition of sustainable farming, including 75 hectares of grape vines including some of the rarest varieties in Italy.
This Pinot Grigio pours straw yellow and demonstrates floral notes mixed with rich fruit aromas of apricot and peach and a subtle chalkiness speaks to the wines sense of place. Dry, medium-bodied and well-balanced.

Tenuta di Angoris was established by Baron Locatello Locatelli and has been supplying wine to the royal courts of Europe since 1648. During the reign of the Hapsburg Empire, the estate served as a retreat for royalty and the elite. The Locatelli family has been closely associated with the Angoris estate since its inception. Since 1968, the winery has been under the management of Giulio Locatelli's family. Today, it is operated with a youthful, dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit to truly capture the essence of the Isonzo Friuli region, renowned for producing some of the finest wines in Friuli.
The name Angoris originates from the Roman Latin word ‘longória,’ signifying extensive fields or strips of land. Upholding respect for the land and the people who cultivate it is a fundamental aspect of the Angoris philosophy, reflecting their deep family heritage. Situated in Friuli, Angoris produces exceptional wines using traditional and native grape varieties.
