The second wine of the micro-cuvée Chateau Clos Sarpe. Consistently one of the best second wines from St Emilion. The 1998 is a delicious soft and succulent vintage of this lovely Claret showing classic St Emilion aromas and flavours plus some developed flavours of grilled meats, soft toasted oak and herbaceousness on the length. A really lovely wine that is ready now.
