    Casa Marin

    Chile (Chile)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

Pale straw colour. The nose has a perfume of yellow capsicum, white strawberries, lemon curd and mixed herbs all wrapped up with a touch of creamed clover honey. Super smooth and fresh. Mid palate carries a lot of texture and turns into a fresh long finish. The mineral intensity makes the wine quite vibrant and enjoyable.

The fresh acidity and structure makes this wine very versatile. Delicious to enjoy on its own during a warm summer day or paired with fresh salads, goat cheese, and all kinds of seafood.

    Churton

Marlborough (New Zealand), New Zealand (New Zealand)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"This wine is 15% barrel-fermented and all the wine was aged on the lees for six months, which has contributed toward a richly-textured and weighty sauvignon blanc. A concentrated wine with melon, grapefruit, struck flint and biscuity yeast lees flavours. Impressive. Good to see a switch to screwcap from cork this vintage."

    Suertes del Marqués

    Spain (Spain), Tenerife (Spain)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Hard Cheese, Suckling Pig, Vegetables

La Solana is a 3.75-acre parcel of clay over volcanic rock where the ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines, trained as cordón trenzado. Jonatan García Lima ferments this with ambient yeasts in concrete tanks, leaving half of the fruit as whole bunches. The resulting wine is very aromatic and perfumed, juicy and smoky. Intriguing and ever-changing, it’s the kind of wine that makes you smell it twice. Then it reveals an old-vine intensity of sour black-cherry and black-currant flavors, bright, gripping and wild.

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Ham, Hard Cheese, Pasta, Red Meat, Risotto, Roasted Vegetables

"The 2015 Stagi, 100% Colorino, is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. Ample and unctuous on the palate, with tremendous textural depth, the 2015 delivers serious fruit intensity while avoiding the hard tannins that plague many other Colorinos. Hints of sage, lavender, mint and spice notes round out this succulent, hugely delicious Tuscan wine."

    Clos Cibonne

    France (France), Provence (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Olivier Salad, Rich Fish, Roasted Vegetables, Salad, Soft Cheese, Vegetables, White Meat

"Clos Cibonne has been called the R. López de Heredia of France, growing serious rosés that age well for a decade or more. They are based on Tibouren, a local variety that’s dropped out of favor because of its thin skins and uneven ripening. Cibonne has staked its reputation on Tibouren nonetheless, ever since the 1930s, when then-proprietor André Roux replanted all his Mourvèdre with it. This cuvée comes off the estate’s oldest vines, growing in schist within sight of the coast. It ages under a veil of yeast, like Sherry, in 100-year-old foudres, developing a pale copper hue and the scent of a cool, shady glade. Earthy with notes of hazelnuts, blood orange and lemon zest, as well as mouthwatering salinity, it’s the sort of rosé that could stand up to spiced lamb dishes, or rice-stuffed tomatoes."
