    Galardi

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

"The 2007 Terra di Lavoro emerges from the glass with an array of floral red fruit, spices, berries and minerals. It is an especially forward, opulent Terra di Lavoro bursting with exuberance. There is something viscerally thrilling about the 2007, perhaps because Terra di Lavoro is typically so reticent when it is young. Not here. This is an open, wonderfully expressive vintage. The only thing left to wonder is if the wine will ever shut down in bottle. For now, readers who want to understand what makes Terra di Lavoro such a pedigreed wine may want to start here. Readers who prefer a firmer style will likely gravitate towards the 2006 or 2008, but this is a flat-out great bottle of wine with an explosive personality that carries through to the long, intensely satisfying finish. In 2007 the weather was consistently hot, but the 2007 doesn’t show the jamminess of the 2003 nor the sheer power of the 2001. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2032."

    Clos Mogador

    Priorat (Spain), Spain (Spain)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

"This time there were two vintages of the top-of-the-range red to taste, as the 2014 is almost finished and the 2015 Clos Mogador will be released soon. In this warmer vintage, there is a little more Cariñena in the blend, with the final breakdown something like 45% Garnacha, 29% Cariñena, 16% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This had the same vinification and aging as the 2014: fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a 35- to 45-day maceration, followed by an élevage in 300-liter barrels and 2,000-liter foudres that lasted 18 months. 2015 is a rounder and easier year than 2014, and it feels a little riper, supple but with good freshness. It's clean and precise with nicely integrated oak. This was an easy vintage for the winery, and the wines are easy to understand and more approachable early on."

    Moët & Chandon

    Champagne (France), France (France)

    1 x 750 ml

Breads, Caviar, Cured Meat, Ham, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"This is a DP that shows the ripeness of the 2009 vintage yet remains full of energy. Gorgeous aromas of cream, apple, mango, honeysuckle, and chalk follow through to a full body and super fine, tight texture. Dense and agile. Vinous. It’s like a top grand cru white Burgundy. Think Bâtard-Montrachet. More depth than the 2006. Drink now."

    97 points - James Suckling, Jan 2018

"There's a subtle power to this graceful Champagne, which boasts a firm, crystalline frame of acidity married to the fine, satinlike mousse and notes of white raspberry, brioche and Earl Grey tea. Seamless through to the long finish of smoke and spice accents, this opens beautifully in the glass. Drink now through 2029."

4-bottle Historic Saca Set. Only 500 sets produced.

    1 x 375 ml Gaspar Florido Amontillado | 90-100 years old

    1 x 375ml Pedro Romero Palo Cortado | 60-70 years old

1 x 375ml Gaspar Florido Palo Cortado "Tú no te Olvides"  | 110-120 years old

    1 x 375ml Pedro Romero Oloroso | 60-70 years old

"Part of a four-bottle pack and not sold separately, the NV Amontillado, the top of the range presented in a square-ish/short, round, stocky bottle, comes from a very old solera from Gaspar Florido of Manzanilla origin. It is sharp and vertical with signs of very old age, powerful and concentrated but keeping elegance, poise and balance. This is truly outstanding and world class."

"One of two Palo Cortados, the NV Palo Cortado was bottled from a single cask of very old wine whose origin was Pedro Romero. It also comes in a rectangular bottle that resembles a perfume or a liqueur, part of a four-bottle case that is not sold separately. "

"The NV Palo Cortado "Tu no te Olvides" also comes in a rectangular bottle that resembles a perfume or a liqueur, part of a four-bottle case that is not sold separately, so the price is only approximate as it's not yet exported and is only sold as part of a four-bottle lot. This comes from a single cask of very old wine whose origin was said to be the Ansa Real solera of Gaspar Florido, a mythical, iconic wine. It has more Palo Cortado character than the other one in the series. There is some creaminess and some nutty aromas with a combination of sharp and rounder characteristics on the palate that make it a good example of the style."

"Presented in the same stocky bottle as the Amontillado, the single-cask NV Oloroso, whose origin is a very old wine from Pedro Romero believed to be 60 to 70 years of age, is extremely old, concentrated and powerful, with parameters off the charts by pure evaporation and concentration through old age. It's intense, pungent and penetrating, with a sweet touch that softens the sensation on the palate."
