    Flat Rock Cellars

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    12 x 750 ml

Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"Twisted is the flagship white of a laudible, high-end Niagara winery, unlike many of its peers in this country and beyond, has kept a sane lid on prices. The wine is a blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Chardonnay, and this is the first vintage under the eye of winemaker Dave Sheppard.
Perfectly off-dry, intriguingly oily and for the sake of a foreign frame of reference - voluptuously Alsatian. Plump and musky, it offers up flavours of apricot, peach and baked apple, like a mixed-fruit country pie. A well-crafted blend that combines Riesling’s zip with Gewurztraminer’s aromatics and Chardonnay’s flesh."

    Bogle Vineyards

    California (USA)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

“Our Bogle Chardonnay is the epitome of a hand-crafted wine: harvested by hand and whole cluster pressed, half of the grapes go directly into stainless steel tanks to retain their crisp, fresh nature. The other half are fermented in new American oak, where they age on the lees for 9 months, with monthly stirring. The finished wine is blended together just before bottling, bringing together a complex yet delightful wine. Green apple and pear aromas classically characterize this wine as Clarksburg, while honeycomb and vanilla heighten the first impression. The rich, round entry rolls into a viscous and silky mouthfeel, surrounded by Asian pears and Honeycrisp apples. The finish lingers long and soft, like the wafting aromas of grandma’s warm apple pie. This wine is certified sustainable by the California Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing and proudly bears the symbol on the label.” - Winery

"This full-bodied wine is ripe in flavor and rich in texture. It does a great job of balancing delicious pear and subtle vanilla flavors on a creamy, layered texture. It seems to get better with each sip."

    Château Des Charmes

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    12 x 750 ml

“… terrific value; stock up. It offers a lively nose of baking brioche and lemon-lime aromas. A profusion of fine-bead bubbles make a substantial mousse when poured and continue in endless thin streams making their way to the top of your glass. Almost off-dry flavours of apple and pear on the palate are joined by a bracing line of lemon curd and Key lime persisting through the mouth-watering finish—clean, crisp and refreshing.”

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"This traditional-method sparkling wine from southern Burgundy entices the nose with caramel apple, lemon zest and toasty biscuit notes from time spent on its lees in the bottle. It has a generous palate of zesty citrus, ripe apple and brioche leading to a long, full and frothy finish. A good value Crémant, it’s well balanced with lively acidity and a delicate effervescence."

    92 Points - Winecurrent.com, April 2018

The dry, sparkling non-vintage Cremant de Bourgogne (100% Chardonnay) offers up notes of orange blossoms, tangerine oil and lemon rind. Fresh, lively, medium-bodied, penetrating and long, this is a sensational value in sparkling Chardonnay."

    Cave Spring Cellars

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"This wine is the flagship for Cave Spring's increasingly important sparkling wine focus, which now involves four labels. It won a Lieutenant-Governor's Award in 2012. This 100% chardonnay was aged for three years, building subtle almond complexity into the dried apple, lemon and shortbread aromas. It is light-bodied, lively, gentle, delicate and a touch sweet, yet built on a beam of mineral acidity. There's excellent length on the finish. This is a terrific blanc de blanc."

    Domaine Baud

    France (France), Jura (France)

"This is a very tasty, rich, golden hued, well aged chardonnay-based sparkler with an involved nose of cashew, baked apple, nougat and honey. It is almost creamy in texture with fine mousse and very good acidity providing counterpoint. There is pleasant nutty bitterness on the finish; length is excellent."

Cured Meat, Duck breast, Ham, Rich Fish, Risotto, Scallop, Soft Cheese, Veal roasted, White Meat

"A pungent nose of wood and strong reduction buries the underlying fruit at present. Otherwise there is very good volume to the even more vibrant flavors that possess fine mid-palate density while exhibiting fine length on the stony and bone dry finish that possesses just a bit more depth. Assuming the nose cleans up, and there is no reason not to, this should be lovely."

    Domaine Grossot

    Chablis (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Cured Meat, Foie gras, Rich Fish, Scallop, Veal roasted, White Meat

"A discreet application of wood sets off the ripe white and yellow orchard fruit aromas that are cut with sea breeze and quinine nuances. The rich and relatively full-bodied flavors possess a beguiling mouth feel and particularly so on the overtly saline-infused finish that also flashes a hint of bitter lemon."

    89-92 points - Burghound.com, Oct 2018

"The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Les Fourneaux is showing well, revealing pretty aromas of ripe citrus fruit, fresh pastry and green apple. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and saline, with an ample attack but a tight-knit core, concluding with a pure and nicely defined finish."

    Bellavista Wine

    Italy (Italy), Lombardy (Italy)

    6 x 750 ml

    Breads, Pasta, Soft Cheese

White foam, exuberant and of excellent persistence. Very fine pearl necklaces to form a well-present and prolonged crown. Effervescence is dynamic and full of youth. Bright and bright yellow color with evident greenish reflections. Bouquet characterized by a marked minerality. Wide and inviting, it embraces nuances of ripe sweet fruit, meringue, pastry and candied citrus peel. Taste fully corresponding to the nose, with an almost crunchy creamy sensation and a texture that combines elegance and lightness, thickness and harmony. The vibrant and contemporary character represents its unmistakable identity. A character that is sustained, without any compromise, by a freshness that maintains its classicism for a long time, announcing its promise of longevity.

"Pretty aromas of bread dough, lemon and cooked apple. Fresh. Medium to full body, tangy acidity and a fruity finish. Always an outstanding sparkling wine. Drink now."

    René Geoffroy

    Champagne (France), France (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"A fine, mouthwatering version, featuring a pleasant vibrancy throughout, while a delicate, satiny texture carries flavors of poached quince, salted almond and Meyer lemon peel. Long and elegant, with details of elderflower, star anise and chalk lacing the finish."

    93 points - Wine Spectator, Dec 2019

"The rich fig and red apple friuts of Cumières meunier create a compelling contrast with crisp malic acidity and tight grapefruit and lemon zest notes. Three years on lees makes for a generous maturity for an entry cuvée, reinforcing honey and fruit cake spice and a creamy texture."

93 points - Tyson Stelzer, The Champagne Guide 2016-2017

"The NV Brut Expression is floral, racy and explosive. Apricot, yellow flowers, mint and butter are all generous in the glass. Vinous and creamy, with tons of richness, the Expression has so much to offer. Tropical overtones add to a real sense of exoticism, and yet there is plenty of freshness and cut as well."
