    Colinas do Douro

    Douro (Portugal), Portugal (Portugal)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

"Produced from old vines, this blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz is rich and dense. It has firm tannins at this young stage although it is obviously going to become a generous rich wine as it develops. It has a fine future of complex structure and fruit."

    Andover Estate

    California (USA), Central Coast (USA)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

Andover wines are pure expressions of their varieties and the singular terroir of our estate vineyards. This Pinot Noir is high toned, open and perfumed with intense aromatics and layers of ripe red fruit. Flavors of strawberries, raspberries and cherries blend elegantly with an underlying stratum of vanilla from 12 months of aging on French oak. The tannins are soft and silky and the finish is elegant and graceful. Arroyo Seco is a remarkable sub-appellation that consistently yields a deep and compelling Pinot Noir.

    Domaine Andre Aubert

    France (France), Southern Rhône (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

Coming from a cool region in the northern part of the southern Rhone (the Grignan AOC was formerly called Coteaux du Tricastin), the Grignan les Adhemar le Devoy checks in as a blend of 40% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 20% Carignan that was completely destemmed and aged for six months in concrete tanks. It has terrific notes of forest floor, cracked pepper, flowers and darker berry fruits as well as medium-bodied richness, an elegant, supple texture and notable purity of fruit. It’s not a heavyweight, yet has considerable charm and appeal. I suspect it’s best consumed over the coming 3-5 years.

    6 x 750 ml

    Soft Cheese, Vegetables, White Meat

The 2013 Gewürztraminer was crafted from hand-harvested grapes from the Frost Vineyard, located on the Twenty-Mile Bench. The moderately warm 2013 vintage led to slower ripening, exceptional varietal intensity and great acidity in aromatic varietals. This is clearly evident on the nose of this fragrant Gewürztraminer, bursting with lychee and pink grapefruit, as well as pretty floral notes. On the palate, enticing notes of marmalade and candied ginger and refreshing acidity balance the residual sweetness and make this aromatic wine extremely food-friendly. > Learn More

    Bogle Vineyards

    Central Coast (USA)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat

Gorgeous in the glass, the deeply colored wine entices with aromatics of black cherry, pipe tobacco and sweet anise. The lively entry is full of rich red fruits of cherries, plums and a touch of cola, and the plush middle caresses with a silky and smooth mouthfeel. An unexpected pop of acidity surprises the palate just before notes of baking spices and mocha lead to a soft and lingering finish.

This is our heaviest crop of Quarry Road Vineyard Gewurztraminer yet. The grapes were picked later than usual and unlike previous vintages the juice was pressed off without any skin contact occurring. The nose has perfume like floral notes with ripe sweet guava aromas. A beautifully enveloping
mouthfeel that is very smooth and well balanced accompanies flavours of peach compote and ripe quava.
There is a noticeable sweetness on the finish.
