  1. $88.50

    Château Des Charmes

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

    Herring, Vegetables, White Meat

Buttered toast, ginger and cinnamon, pear and pineapple aromas mingle on the nose. Dry, medium-full bodied, there’s a well-defined yet restrained backbone of acidity that showcases the creamy, round texture and ripe, lush fruit. Attractive notes of spice, toast and a touch of white pepper add warmth to the flavourful, satiny finish.

    Château Des Charmes

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, Vegetables, White Meat

We bottle this wine in a clear Bordeaux shaped bottle, so you can see how clean and vibrant the wine is. You can also see from the colour that it’s unoaked. This is the way we like Sauvignon Blanc; fragrant with classic hints of gooseberry and citrus fruit with an herbal note on the finish. We chose to use a screwcap on this wine to signal that we believe this wine is best enjoyed young.

    Château Des Charmes

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

    Salad, Vegetables, White Meat

A more deeply coloured rosé, just off-dry with flavours of plum skin and red raspberry. A touch of bitterness, cherry pit and ripe strawberry along with a balanced degree of freshness. There is some satisfying weight to this blend but the alcohol is well in check. Cheerful and offering good complexity for the price.

    Château Des Charmes

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

Ham, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Suckling Pig, Veal roasted

"Based on a spontaneous mutation of the red Beaujolais grape and isolated in the early 1980's by winery founder Paul Bosc Sr., this is just as serious as it is happy. Light and crisp, yet smoothly polished, it's perfectly ripe and cherry-like as well as subtly smoky and spicy."

    6 x 200 ml

    Sweets, Tarte tatin

Vidal is the most popular grape variety used to make Icewine. It’s been used to make several different styles of Icewine but we like it best straight forward and intense. When you first put your nose into the glass your head is filled with thoughts of honey, apricot and flower gardens in full bloom. It coats your mouth and you feel it well after you swallow. It’s definitely sweet but the balancing acidity is telling of the care that went into its making. Aged Vidal Icewine is an acquired taste so we recommend that you enjoy it while it still has the fresh floral notes – up to about five years old.
