    Egly-Ouriet

    Champagne (France), France (France)

    6 x 750 ml

    Caviar, Foie gras

From the very first cuvee, Egly-Ouriet is distinguished for its ability to preserve exacting precision and outstanding chalk mineral focus in the midst of magnificent generosity. This is a vinous wine of calm authority, carrying the full grandeur and complexity of carefully tended, old-vine pinot noir on some of Champagne's most revered Grand Crus, It juxtaposes freshness and depth, a marvel of red cherries, plums, dried fruits, and mixed-spice of rippling intensity, showcasing four and a half years on lees, yet at every moment impeccably focused with scintillating acidity and miner-infused poise. A paradox of luxurious generosity and crystalline purity.

    Lelarge-Pugeot

    Champagne (France), France (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Caviar, Foie gras, Sweets, Tarte tatin, White Meat

This pinot noir rosé is from 30 year old vines, fermented and rested for six months in tank and blended with 7 percent Coteaux Champensois prior to three years en tirage. The medium pink hued fizz is imbued with strawberry, wild cherry, raspberry brioche and red / pink florals that dart around the mouth buoyed by brisk acidity. There is a gentle padding on the palate, the result of three years on the lees. As with all of the Lelarge Pugeot wines, there is a riff of meringue that lingers on the finish.

"Luminous pink-red. Bright aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, blood orange and botanical herbs. Then bright and juicy, with laser-like acidity lifting and extending the red fruit flavours on the juicy, long, floral and slightly saline finish. A very precise, seamless Cerasuolo with no hard edges and sneaky concentration."

    Matsu

    Spain (Spain), Toro (Spain)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

Picaro means 'rogue' or 'rascal', and this rapscallion of a wine is a youthful interpretation of the Toro region's style. The grapes come from mature vines of over 50 years of age, but the wine spends only three months in oak, preserving their natural fruit profile. Vivid crimson-purple in the glass. Aromas are of ripe blackberries and raspberries, with subtle hints of fresh cocoa. The palate is bold yet supple, with ripe tannins and a mineral grip. Enjoy on its own or with boldly flavoured pasta dishes or spicy meat skewers.
