Château Haut Grelot

12 x 750 ml
Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, Vegetables, White Meat
Pale straw-yellow in color, elegant and crisp with intense exotic fruit aromas. Grapefruit, gooseberry and wild herbs intermingle on the nose with ample citrus fruit on the palate. This wine has a generous weight, round and in perfect balance. This wine is perfect to drink by itself or pair it with seafood, chicken, fresh salads and/or cheeses.
"This is 90% sauvignon blanc. It has a lifted nose of celery, lemon-lime, wax and dried flowers. It is medium-full bodied, quite smooth and warm with lively acidity. There is some fruit richness here. Excellent length. It shows far more depth and vivacity than I expect from Bordeaux blanc at this price point."

"A more laid back, complex, earthy, rusty - oxidative rosé here, with significant depth and presence on the palate. It comes across as a very genuine wine, also with impressive length and complexity." 91 points - John Szabo MS, Winealign, June 2019
"A brand new release of the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc: picked relatively early, 18 hours on skins before pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, with a portion aged in neutral barrels for four months and the remainder in stainless steel. The wine is pale straw in the glass, crisp and fresh, with hints of grass, white flowers, lemon-lime and yellow melon. It's dry, with bright acidity, and add a whisper of white grapefruit and white peach on the palate. A charming wine, delicate and nuanced, far from the heavy vegetal side of the grape — perhaps moving towards a uniquely Niagara expression of the variety?" 90 points - Tim Appelt, WineDiscovery, April 2019
"From de-classification choices made in the winery, the NP pinot noir is a blend of Lowrey and Senchuk vineyard fruit that didn’t make it into the single-vineyard bottles. Falls somewhere not precisely calculated in the 12-18 months barrel age time for fruit sweet and structured, elevated into the ether tonal zone and ready to please, if you please. Take some time and realize the dream, of pinot noir made the right way from an agglomeration out of all the correct places and spaces." 90 points - Michael Godel, Winealign, March 2019
This blended wine over-delivers massively for the price. The nose is pronounced with dried cranberries, lavender, licorice, cocoa, cedar, and blueberries that the palate replicates and follows with raspberry, vanilla, and rich tannins. It is perfectly drinkable now but will age well over the next 5-8 years. Great with burgers, cured meat, and hard cheese.> Learn More

Complex bouquet of orange and lemon zest, tropical fruits as well as a sprinkling of vanilla and fennel. Solid backbone with a flinty, mouth watering acidity and a well integrated oaky touch adding some complexity. This is a beautifully concentrated, intense wine with a lingering finish.
