"Based on a spontaneous mutation of the red Beaujolais grape and isolated in the early 1980's by winery founder Paul Bosc Sr., this is just as serious as it is happy. Light and crisp, yet smoothly polished, it's perfectly ripe and cherry-like as well as subtly smoky and spicy."

"This is fresh and supple with attractive sweet red cherry fruit, showing some nice texture with fine-grained tannins. Really pretty and expressive with just a hint of vanilla and spice under the light, fragrant wild strawberry and herb notes. Very pure and enticing."

    Big Head

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    12 x 750 ml

    Red Meat, Suckling Pig

A very interesting expression of the Gamay. This is our first year making it, so we didn't know what to expect nor did we push it in any direction. The nose is intense, showing candied red fruit, red licorice, star anise, and maple. The palate does not match the nose and is very bright. This is a wine to have with food until that acid subsides. Salt, acid, or fat will be your friend here. Rich dishes based on fatty pork, duck or game. Choucroute Garnie comes to mind. > Learn More
