    Marie-Pierre Manciat

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"This traditional-method sparkling wine from southern Burgundy entices the nose with caramel apple, lemon zest and toasty biscuit notes from time spent on its lees in the bottle. It has a generous palate of zesty citrus, ripe apple and brioche leading to a long, full and frothy finish. A good value Crémant, it’s well balanced with lively acidity and a delicate effervescence."

    92 Points - Winecurrent.com, April 2018

The dry, sparkling non-vintage Cremant de Bourgogne (100% Chardonnay) offers up notes of orange blossoms, tangerine oil and lemon rind. Fresh, lively, medium-bodied, penetrating and long, this is a sensational value in sparkling Chardonnay."

    Maison Roche De Bellène

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Rich Fish, Roasted Vegetables

The entry-level red Burgundy comes from vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The vines range in age from 30 to 80 years and are farmed sustainably. The major part of this wine is matured in barriques and the remainder is done in stainless steel. This maintains a pure style with bright fruit and a fine texture. 100% delicious. Smashed cherry skins, crunchy acidity and fresh vibrant intensity. But, beneath all the fresh red flowers and sweet talc on the nose there is a fine whiff of wet rocks and autumn. Tannins are chalky, soft and plump. This true Vieilles Vignes Burgundy has killer finesse and an insane quaffable quality that makes it a dangerous wine.

"This is fine and juicy pinot, delicate and ripe but fresh, with terrifically balanced tannins/acids. Fruit is properly in the red-tart red berry spectrum. Length is very good."

This red wine is lad in a beautiful, eye catching ruby. The dashing nose with good intensity, explores the whole range of fresh fruit. On the palate, the attack is fresh, and develops with a good mouthfeel. Frisky and dashing, this wine is a good way to discover Burgundian Pinot Noir. It will accompany braised veal, roasted poultry, or pork cooed simply in meat juices. > Learn More

  4. New Chablis by Gerard Tremblay 2018

    $455.88

    Domaine Gerard Tremblay

Burgundy (France), Chablis (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Hard Cheese, Pasta, Rich Fish, Risotto, Scallop, Soft Cheese, Vegetables, White Meat

This domaine has thrived for five generations now, driven mostly by their love of Chablis.  This particular Chablis is from 20-30 year-old Chardonnay vines planted on stoney soils.  With the green and yellow reflections characteristic of this AOC, it is an abundant and generous wine.  Aromas of green and red apples with a hint of oyster shell and white flowers. The palate is fresh and crisp with notes of lime. This is a beautifully balanced wine, dry, fleshy and ripe with a distinctly mineral finish.

    6 x 750 ml

Salted or Marinated Mushrooms, Scallop, White Meat

"Discreet wood and matchstick influences frame pretty aromas of apple and citrus. There is excellent volume to the intense and attractively textured medium weight flavors that possess even better depth and persistence on the dry but not austere finale. This too is well-worth checking out."

  8. New Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir by Gerard Tremblay 2018 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir by Gerard Tremblay 2018

    $1,199.88

    Domaine Gerard Tremblay

Burgundy (France), Chablis (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Hard Cheese, Pasta, Rich Fish, Risotto, Scallop, Soft Cheese, Vegetables, White Meat

Intense aromas of honey and ripe fruit, rose and white flowers.  Its flavors are velvety, ample and long.

Grand Cru Vaudésir is divided into two parts by the track called “le chemin des Vaudésirs”.  Roughly half of its vines face due south, whilst the remainder face south-west. It is very steep in places, its soil type seems rather lighter than most, and contains less lime. This increasing “earthiness” tends to mark the wines, which can be drunk young if one is looking for crispness. The full structure of the wines will take several years to develop however, as with all the Grands Crus. Their extreme delicacy has given Vaudésir the reputation of being the most feminine of all the climates.

    Henri Magnien

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    6 x 750ml

    Duck breast

"There is again plenty of menthol influence to the very ripe yet fresh black berry aromas that are laced with hints of spice, anise and humus. While the mid-palate of the larger-scaled medium-bodied flavors is seductive and rich, the very firm, youthfully austere and stony finish is decidedly firm and built-to-age."

  10. $389.99

    Henri Magnien

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    1 x 1500ml

    Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru comes from 1.47 hectares that cover the four soil types within the vineyard; Magnien informed me that he is the only grower who has all four. The vines are Pinot Magnien and some are up to 100 years old. A gorgeous bouquet of pure black cherries, blueberry and light violet aromas bursts from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity, and lightly spiced, leading into a harmonious, persistent, mineral-driven finish. This should evolve into a gorgeous Les Cazetiers.
