    Marie-Pierre Manciat

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

"This traditional-method sparkling wine from southern Burgundy entices the nose with caramel apple, lemon zest and toasty biscuit notes from time spent on its lees in the bottle. It has a generous palate of zesty citrus, ripe apple and brioche leading to a long, full and frothy finish. A good value Crémant, it’s well balanced with lively acidity and a delicate effervescence."

    92 points - Winecurrent.com, April 2018

"The dry, sparkling non-vintage Cremant de Bourgogne (100% Chardonnay) offers up notes of orange blossoms, tangerine oil and lemon rind. Fresh, lively, medium-bodied, penetrating and long, this is a sensational value in sparkling Chardonnay."

The red Burgundy comes from vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The vines range in age from 30 to 80 years and are farmed sustainably. The major part of this wine is matured in barriques and the remainder is done in stainless steel. This maintains a pure style with bright fruit and a fine texture. > Learn More

"The 2016 Volnay Santenots 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet with raspberry and red cherries. Quite floral in style, it just blossoms with aeration, gaining real intensity. The palate is fleshy and ripe with a fine bead of acidity, superb poise with an edgy, mineral-driven finish that lingers in the mouth. Recommended."

"The 2016 Pommard Les Grands Epenots 1er Cru has another perfumed and detailed bouquet that is sophisticated and entrancing. This is outstanding. The palate is detailed, mineral-driven and framed around its filigree tannin. Its discrete tart finish beckons another sip. What a beautifully realized Pommard from David Rebourgeon."

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

The “Cellier aux Moines” parcel is very old with records dating back to 1258. With a terrific currant color, and a rich, intense fruit bouquet with aromas of ripe dark berries, this Pinot Noir has lots of sweet, pure fruit on the palate. It is a beautifully balanced, velvety wine that offers good power, backend persistence and a lingering finish. This is a wine that can be enjoyed after a long aging period. > Learn More

    Domaine Bachelet-Monnot

    Burgundy (France), France (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

"The 2016 Maranges 1er Cru Clos de la Boutiere, which contains more clayey soils than Fussière’s chalkier "dirt," is a single parcel of 80-year-old vines that, in this vintage, includes 20% whole bunch fruit. It has a wonderful, fresh, vibrant bouquet with red cherries, wild strawberry and cranberry fruit, a touch of sous-bois and even a touch of pencil lead borrowed from left bank Bordeaux. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, succulent tannin, although in the second half it narrows in a little to maintain focus and tension. It feels long and tender on the finish, which completes another delicious and quite cerebral Maranges from its finest exponents."

"The young vines fared well but the grapes were still sold off as per normal practice here. The older vines were 70% down in volume. Lovely light lemon, with a fine stylish nose. This is precise, chiselled even, with a lovely nuanced, graceful mid palate and a fine finish integrating fruit and acidity. Very good."

"This lieu-dit tends to produce rich, gastronomic Meursaults, and it has certainly done so in 2016. A classic bouquet of poached pear, peach and oatmeal precedes a full-bodied, ample palate. It is multidimensional and detailed, and underpinned by juicy acids which balance the site’s inherent voluminousness. This will deliver a lot of pleasure at the table."

"No frost here. Pale primrose, a touch of the mirabelle plums, more fruit than floral. Then the quality of the appellation kicks in on the palate, lovely interwoven acidity with the texture, very long finish."

"Pale primrose with a really elegant nose, with a very pretty touch of reduction. Really marries in extremely well. Lemon and lime notes, a little too yellow to be greengage, a lovely thread of concentration. Very good."
