    Domaine De Cristia

    France (France), Southern Rhône (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

The Domaine de Cristia Ventoux 2017 is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. While the vineyards are situated in the southern Rhône Valley, the altitude and cooler temperatures of Mont Ventoux lend the terroir more northern characteristics of texture and finesse. It's a yin and yang type of Rhone wine, with pretty aromatics, lower alcohol content, and plenty of power on the palate. Fans of Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape should take a look at this outstanding value!

"This seductive, dark-pink rosé offers potent blackberry and black cherry perfume. A blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (40%) and Mourvèdre (10%), it's full bodied and robust with deeply concentrated raspberry and watermelon flavors. Buoyantly fruit forward but dry and firmly structured, it finishes on elegant tea tannins. Enjoy now–2022."

"Jubilant whiffs of wild strawberry and white peach perfume this pristine, fruity dry rosé. A blend of Cinsault (50%), Grenache (40%) and Syrah (10%), it balances ripe, sunny red-fruit flavors against kicks of dried thyme, rosemary and mint. It makes for an effortlessly enjoyable but elegant summer sip."

    12 x 750 ml

Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Veal roasted

"The 2018 Ventoux Terrasses is a normal blend of 60%Grenache and 40% Syrah that was mostly destemmed and brought up in a mix of concrete and stainless steel. It offers a rocking bouquet of black cherries, ground pepper, flowers and violets with almost marine-like hints in its minerality. Medium to full-bodied, fresh focused, pure and with fine tannins. It’s another winner from this domaine."

    91 points - Jeb Dunnuck, April 2020

"A welcome return to form, the 2018 Ventoux Terrasses is a floral, herbal and red-fruited version of this unoaked cuvée. It's medium to full-bodied, with ample concentration, velvety tannins and lovely hints of tea and spice on the long finish. It should drink well through 2024 or so."

  6. New Tavel Roc-Epine Rosé by Domaine Lafond 2019

    $311.88

    Domaine Lafond

    France (France), Southern Rhône (France)

    12 x 750 ml

Rich Fish, Risotto, Vegetables, White Meat

A deep, vivid pink colour with dominate aromas of red and white fruits and a hint of floral.  It is complex with minerality and silky and full on the palate.

"Sommelier Amy Racine considers this rosé by Domaine Lafond as one of her favorites. This wine from the Rhone Valley in France has a "dark juicy style that is great all year," Racine notes. She recommends this wine as a richer tasting experience to add to your rosé repertoire."

    Domaine du Pégau

    France (France), Southern Rhône (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Vegetables

"Not yet bottled, the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Réservée is a normal blend of 80% Grenache, 6% Syrah, 4% Mourvèdre, and the rest assorted varieties (not destemmed), brought up all in foudre and old barrels. It has classic Pégau notes of ground pepper, earth, meat, truffle, and blackcurrants as well as medium to full body, good density, building tannins, and a great finish. Laurence compared this vintage to 2005, but I think this 2017 has more density and flesh. It’s a beautiful, classic Pégau that reminds me a slightly toned down 2009."
