Vintae has its origin in José Miguel Arambarri Terrero's passion for wine. A businessman from La Rioja in 1999, he decided to return to his family origins, recovering the Small Grain Muscat in La Rioja which had disappeared due to phylloxera. His vision gave rise to Castillo de Maetierra and Maetierra Dominum, the two wineries that were the origin of Vintae and where he began to develop Libalis. With the incorporation of his two sons, Richi and José Miguel, into Vintae, it became the top-notch producer it is today.

Following a decade of traveling to all corners of Spain, we have set up camp in 14 different regions, where the vineyard takes center stage and we try to transmit the story and landscape of each region through the wines that we make.
