    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

Fruit forward, rich and mouthwatering, showing generous red fruits complemented by spicy notes giving an overall impression reminiscent of an amaro. The fresh and fruity Merlot is bolstered by the complexity contributed by 15% 4 year-old Montepulciano sourced from the winery owner’s personal vineyards. Not technically allowed in an Italian wine labelled Merlot, but it makes for a great combination!

Valpolicella is the quintessential pizza and pasta wine, grown in the Veneto region of Italy, just north of Verona. Aromatic wine with cherries and a hint of almond. Colognole

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

Sinopie refers to the guide lines that artists drew on the walls in preparation to paint large fresco's. Our own guide lines for making Sinopie Chianti are the crispness of its fruit, the vibrancy of acidity and its genius for pairing with foods. Such is the Sangiovese in the style of Classic Chianti. The wine exhibits bright cherry and raspberry fruit aromas with a hint of dried herbs. The palate is light to medium bodied with fresh cherries and a salty black licorice finish. > Learn More

    Badia di Morrona

    Italy (Italy), Tuscany (Italy)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables

This wine comes from various estate vineyards all enjoying south or south-eastern exposures. 90% Sangiovese is blended with 5% Cabernet and 5% Merlot. Densely planted to 5600 plants per hectare, the vines grow in sandy limestone-rich soils. The grapes are macerated for over a week and vinified in steel or concrete vats. Deep red ruby with fresh fruit, mineral and floral aromas. Red berry fruits dominate the palate with well-integrated acidity and tannins. Beautifully balanced.

    Luigi Righetti

    Italy (Italy), Veneto (Italy)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

It has pleasant strawberry, cherry and plum aromas with hints of leather, autumn leaves and asian spice. The palate is vibrantly fruity and lightly tannic. Campolieti means "happy fields" and refers to the vineyards from which the grapes are harvested. The wine is a traditional blend of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varietals that has had a second fermentation on the pressings of the Amarone grapes (a process called "ripasso"). After the second fermentation the wine is aged for one year, partly in French barriques and partly in 20hl oak barrels.
