    Caymus Vineyards

    Argentina (Argentina), Mendoza (Argentina)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

This Malbec is made from grapes grown in the Andes Mountains, shipped chilled to Napa Valley and produced with the same techniques as our Caymus Cabernet. Falling outside standard labeling rules, it does not include a vintage date but is known by the voyage from which it travelled (Voyage 7 is the 2017 vintage). Offering scents of ripe plums and cherries, this wine is powerful and supple, with flavors of French oak and soft tannins.

    Château Clos de Sarpe

    Bordeaux (France), France (France)

    6 x 750 ml

Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms, Suckling Pig, Vegetables

The second wine of the micro-cuvée Chateau Clos Sarpe. Consistently one of the best second wines from St Emilion. The 1998 is a delicious soft and succulent vintage of this lovely Claret showing classic St Emilion aromas and flavours plus some developed flavours of grilled meats, soft toasted oak and herbaceousness on the length. A really lovely wine that is ready now.

    Lopez de Heredia

    Rioja (Spain), Spain (Spain)

    6 x 750 ml

Breads, Ham, Pasta, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

"Following the appreciation of the 2007 vintage from María José López de Heredia, the red 2007 Viña Tondonia Reserva is showing great, revealing unusual finesse and elegance. The nose is a little reticent but nuanced and complex, a little shy rather than explosive. The palate is medium-bodied, and the tannins are very refined. This has to be one of the finest vintages of Viña Tondonia Reserva of recent years."(LG)

    Benito Ferrara

    Campania (Italy), Italy (Italy)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Rich Fish, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms, White Meat

"Luminous straw-green. Inviting, lovely lemon-lime and white flower notes on the nose. Then very serious and almost austere in the mouth, displaying a stony personality to the orchard and tropical fruit flavors. Remarkably Fiano-like on the long, smooth, mineral finish – in fact, it “out-Fianos” Ferrara’s Fiano Sequenzha this year! A lovely wine that is still youthful and will likely develop well."

    93+ points - Ian d'Agata, Vinous Media, Nov 2019

Benito Ferrara is one of Italy’s best white wine producers. Ferrara’s most famous wine, the Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna, is an Italian icon.

Benito Ferrara’s Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna is perhaps the most elegant Greco di Tufo wine made in Italy today. Though it has the tannic power typical of Greco wines, it has a light on its feet quality, a dainty minerality and a lemony freshness that are not commonly found in other Greco di Tufo wines." - Ian d'Agata, Vinous Media

    Bernabeleva

    Madrid (Spain), Spain (Spain)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

Bright violet color. Complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe red berries, incense and Asian spices, with a suave floral overtone. Stains the palate with sweet, seamless raspberry liqueur and rose pastille flavors sharpened by a note of blood orange. Concentrated yet lithe, with smooth tannins sneaking in slowly to add grip to the wine's vivacious fruit. It's amazing how tasty the finish can get with these granite soils.

    Domaine Ouled Thaleb

    Morocco (Morocco), Zenata (Morocco)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

This wine is produced at the modern winery of Thalvin, not far from Casablanca, from selected parcels of Syrah vines, some 48 years old. It’s a and deep ruby colour with an expressive nose of black cherry, dried rosemary and licorice. The medium-bodied palate replays the nose. This Syrah would fool most people who would think its from southern French. > Learn More

    San Pietro

    Alto Adige (Italy), Italy (Italy)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Rich Fish, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms, Soft Cheese, White Meat

San Pietro's Pinot Grigio K is from the Kristall area at 2000 feet above sea level. The wine used to be called Kristall until Louis Roederer lodged a complaint saying it could be confused with their Champagne, Cristal. Even though a bottle of Cristall costs more than a case of this Pinot Grigio! Straw yellow. On the nose it is rich, lightly spicy with a discreet aroma reminiscent of lime tree blossom, pear and banana. It is a rich, assertive wine, full but lithe in body. It felt very refined, with ripe fruit, white-pepper spice and notable minerality. > Learn More

    Bodegas Ismael Arroyo

Ribera del Duero (Spain), Spain (Spain)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

"This is really well done with dark cherries, mulberries, licorice and tar. Very structured, refined and elegant on the palate, where edgy tannins gather pretty forest fruit together and mold them into fine, pastry-like sheets."

    Luigi Righetti

    Italy (Italy), Veneto (Italy)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Ham, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Salted or Marinated Mushrooms

It has pleasant strawberry, cherry and plum aromas with hints of leather, autumn leaves and asian spice. The palate is vibrantly fruity and lightly tannic. Campolieti means "happy fields" and refers to the vineyards from which the grapes are harvested. The wine is a traditional blend of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varietals that has had a second fermentation on the pressings of the Amarone grapes (a process called "ripasso"). After the second fermentation the wine is aged for one year, partly in French barriques and partly in 20hl oak barrels.
