    Château Des Charmes

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

This is complex, structured, simply delicious and was propagated from a clone discovered in their vineyard, it's Canada's first vinifera vine. Aromas of blueberry, cherry and spice mingle with wisps of pipe tobacco on the alluring nose. Medium-full bodied and generously textured, waves of sour cherry and ripe black currant interlace with roasted herbs and black pepper. The finish lingers with a solid core of ripe fruit, fine-grained tannin, good moderating acidity and oodles of charm. > Learn More

    Creekside Estate

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

Rich Fish, Soft Cheese, White Meat

An elegant bouquet showing classic aromas of black cherry, wild raspberry and savoury beetroot. The palate is rich and silky with moderate tannins finishing with a hint of darkness chocolate. We wanted this Pinot Noir to showcase the elegant character of Niagara Pinot without excessive oak influence. Drinking well now (give it some air!) or rest in the cellar to 2022 to encourage a silky texture over time.

  4. New Adras Mencia Ribeira Sacra by Isaac Fernandez Seleccion 2016

    $299.40

    Isaac Fernandez Selección

    Ribeira Sacra (Spain), Spain (Spain)

    12 x 750 ml

Breads, Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, Soft Cheese

These fifty-plus year-old Mencía vines have succeeded nicely in 2016, offering up a fine aromatic constellation of cassis, pepper, espresso, graphite, a superb base of slate and a topnote of bonfire. On the palate the wine is pure, fullbodied and nicely sappy at the core, with impressive transparency, modest tannins and a long, tangy and complex finish. This is still a young wine and will gain in complexity with further bottle age, but it is very nicely balanced out of the blocks and already a pleasure to drink. Quite a classic example of the slightly moredelicate style of Mencía planted on the terraces above the Miño River.

    Flat Rock Cellars

Canada (Canada), Niagara (Canada), Ontario (Canada)

    6 x 750 ml

Cured Meat, Hard Cheese, Red Meat, Roasted Vegetables, White Meat

Flat Rock Cellars' Gravity is designed to showcase the "best of the best" in the estate's Twenty Mile Bench vineyard and cellar. That means careful selection of the best parcels of Pinot Noir vines, vinified separately and then the best is chosen from individual barrels. The nose shows generous cran-cherry fruit with a subtle note of earthy goodness and oak spice. It's pure and delicious on the palate with bright red fruits, ripe tannins, vibrant acidity and good length through the finish.

"Complex with a savoury, mineral, ferrous edge to the sweet cherry and berry fruits. Has nice structure with some lovely grip sitting nicely under the fruit. A stony, mineral expression of Pinot."

"Less than 900 cases are produced of this Hood River pinot noir passing through volcanic basalt in the Columbia Gorge. It's a serious aromatic treat, sweetly red cherry contested against a wall of harnessed and gritty power. Surprisingly it is fine-grained tannin that keeps this wound Nuits St. Georges tight so that longevity can be bred from a taut sense of structure. This is a piece of Oregon not to be missed."
